Have you noticed that our dogs, cats, and other pet friends come in all different species, breeds, shapes, and sizes, yet we love them all the same? Come bring your pet friend (or just your appreciation for pet friends) to this special edition Yappy Hour ‘Body Pawsitivity’ co-hosted by the Counseling Center’s ATOD Prevention Center and Body Image Peer Educators to engage in fun conversation about the differences and similarities between animal and human body positivity while also enjoying the presence of our pet friends.
All students, faculty, staff, and other TU members are welcome to join. We also welcome all kinds of pets, however you do not need to have a pet to join us. If you’re looking for a space to unwind, build connection, look at some cute animals, and reflect on the concepts of body positivity and acceptance, then here it is.
