About this Event
PubMed, a platform maintained by the U.S. National Library of Medicine, is the premier platform for life sciences and biomedical articles. In addition to MEDLINE, it contains PubMed Central and the NCBI Bookshelf. As of 2021, it holds over 32 million citations! Using it can be a challenge, but mastering it is critical for conducting research in health or science.
Perhaps you've wondered about PubMed's indexing? How does it work, exactly?
Maybe you need to find high quality research evidence for your paper?
Or do you need to understand literature in a certain field, create journal or author alerts, or set up an account to save your searches?
You can learn all that and more in our 60-minute PubMed workshop taught by our Health Professions Librarian, Carrie Price.
You can join the workshop via WebEx: https://towson.webex.com/towson/j.php?MTID=m3b8e9fa96623ce331fae8aea1ab46be5
