by Anton Chekhov, directed by Stephen Nunns
Towson University Department of Theatre Arts presents Uncle Vanya, Anton Chekhov’s masterpiece. The play portrays an early 20th century world filled with tumultuous frustration, dark humor and hidden passions. It is the story of characters caught between tradition and transformation, between personal isolation and communal action, between the lure of love and the security of duty.
