The Towson University Field Station provides the university's students with a rich environment for research in the biological, environmental and geological sciences.
Come share the wonders of stargazing with a professional astronomer and portable planetarium. Take a guided nature walk with expert naturalists. Identify local amphibians, reptiles, insects and minerals. Track and locate box turtles with radio telemetry. Go seining for fish in the Gunpowder Falls River or visit deer plots. Examine aquatic invertebrates and view projects being conducted by TU students.
This is a free event for alumni and community members.
Complimentary hamburgers and hotdogs and side dishes will be served.
