The Todd Marcus Jazz Orchestra

The Todd Marcus Jazz Orchestra, composed of six horns, piano, bass and drums, is an ensemble unique for being led by a bass clarinetist (Marcus), a rarely used instrument in straight-ahead
jazz. Recent works feature the fusion of jazz with Middle Eastern music, reflecting Marcus’ Egyptian-American heritage.
This performance is supported by a 2013 Maryland State Arts Council grant.
