Abstract: In this talk, I will reflect on how the age of artificial intelligence is reshaping the way we study quantum phenomena. For decades, progress in quantum science has relied on theory, computation, and increasingly sophisticated experiments. Today, AI is adding a new layer: it can help identify patterns in complex data, accelerate simulation and discovery, and suggest new ways of controlling quantum systems. I will discuss how advances in computation, data-driven modeling, and machine learning are opening new possibilities for understanding complex quantum systems, while also raising new conceptual and methodological questions. Drawing on my own research trajectory and sabbatical plans, I will outline emerging opportunities at the intersection of quantum science and AI, from discovery and simulation to interpretation and control. The talk will highlight both the promise and the limits of AI as a tool for advancing fundamental science.
