Public shows are held the evening of the first & third Friday of every month at 7:00 and 7:45 p.m. and are provided free of charge. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis except for designated ADA/wheelchair seating. Extra shows are added to accommodate overflow audiences.

Show Description: Many believe a bright star appeared in the East, heralding the birth of a savior.  But was there really a star?  Did it really appear in December?  And was the “star” a very different kind of phenomenon?

Runtime: 22 minutes

Recommended Age: 8 and up

Directions: Enter the campus using Research Way from York Road. The Science Complex is on the right. Free parking is available after 3 p.m. on Friday through Sunday in the Glen Parking Garage, directly across from the Science Complex.

When weather permits, planetarium shows are followed by telescope observing using our new 16” diameter Ritchey-Chrétien reflecting telescope as well as with some of our portable 8” Celestron telescopes.
