Peggy and Yale Gordon Residency | Washington National Cathedral Choir Masterclass

In conjunction with the Peggy and Yale Gordon Trust in Classical Music Fund, the Department of Music is pleased to host the Washington D.C. National Cathedral Choral Scholars under the direction of Michael McCarthy for a residency between February 15-23, 2024 on the campus of Towson University. The residency will include a concert by the National Cathedral Choir and Mr. McCarthy on Saturday, February 17 and a joint concert on Friday, February 23 with the Towson University Choirs and Choral Scholars under the direction of Mr. McCarthy and Dr. Diana Saez (Director of Choral Activities at Towson). Other residency activities will include a number of open rehearsals with Mr. McCarthy, a public masterclass at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, and individual and group coaching of chamber choral works with students.
