Don’t look back! Orpheus in the Underworld is Jacques Offenbach’s comedic and satirical masterpiece based on the tragic mythological tale of Orpheus and Eurydice. Under the direction of Jessica Harika, Music for the Stage produces this fully-staged English version with chamber orchestra conducted by Phillip Collister-Murray. With a contemporary libretto, charming and fast-paced musical action, and even the famous “Can-Can” dance, you’ll find that spending an evening in Hades has never been more fun. (Contains adult situations portrayed through comedy.)

Produced by special arrangement with Comic Opera Guild & Thomas Petiet © 1977
