Reproductive justice as social justice: Recognizing the complexity of pregnancy decision-making and the importance of access

This presentation will offer an introduction to the topic of reproductive justice and its importance alongside broader movements for social justice. Dr. Klann will discuss her Pregnancy Decision-Making Model, the first proposed psychological model to integrate intersectionality and reproductive justice into pregnancy decision-making, as well as recent findings from studies with women who have mental health conditions about their reproductive futures.

The Multiculturalism in Action Brown Bag Series is focused on showcasing the multicultural and diversity related scholarly activities taking place on Towson University's campus. This is an opportunity for faculty, staff, and students to meet and engage with each other around multicultural scholarship in a supportive space.
