Pierre's journey as a practicing graphic designer for 20 years has put him on the path of exploring the missing Black American diaspora in the field of graphic design. His purpose is to bring to the forefront those persons having origins in any of the Black racial groups of Africa who contributed to design, with little to no recognition in today's classroom and history books, and open a dialogue for all designers. Pierre is currently an assistant professor at Slippery Rock University.
