Karen Klinedinst is a Baltimore, Maryland, based artist who uses photography to explore themes of place, nature, and the environment. Inspired by the 19th century landscape paintings of the Hudson River School, she creates richly layered landscapes that combine the real with the imagined. She is a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore.
