Joyce J. Scott is an interdisciplinary artist, renowned especially for her free-form beaded sculptures. Her work addresses the politics of racism, violence, stereotypes and sexism. She is featured in the exhibition on view in the Center for the Arts Gallery from February 10—April 1.
