Since Towson’s University’s inception, women have been pillars of inspiration uplifting students, staff and faculty alike. Women were instrumental to campus life, the structure of the university and student success. Buildings on campus even bear the names of some of these individuals, like Lida Lee and Richmond; but who were they and what impact did they make on our campus? 

Join Felicity Knox ’94, and the TU Alumni Association to learn more about these women, and the impact they have made on the TU community.

About Felicity Knox:



Felicity graduated from Towson University in 1994 with an English major. She began her career at Towson University in 2000, and joined the archives department in 2009. Felicity assists researchers, works with students, writes articles for the archives’ blog, and runs the department’s social media platforms. Felicity is an author of the book “Towson University: The First 150 Years,” a photo book celebrating TU’s founders, and rich history in conjunction with the 150th anniversary celebrations of TU. Felicity is currently completing a Master’s degree in library and information science.
