The Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) is creating the most detailed map of our nearby universe. Installed on the Mayall telescope on Kitt Peak in Southern Arizona, DESI's 5000 independently operated robots can measure the light from thousands of galaxies at once. The result is the most comprehensive survey of the effects of dark energy on the expanding universe. Join us as we explore the science, instruments, and people behind this global endeavor.

Telescope viewing: the roof-top telescope will be available for use but may be delayed due to later sunset and is weather permitting.

Directions: Enter the campus from Research Way from York Road. The Science Complex is on the right. Free parking is available free from 3 p.m on Friday through Sunday in the Glen Parking Garage, directly across from the Science Complex
