Julie Weil is an international speaker, activist, and sexual assault survivor who has been an advocate for other survivors both nationally and internationally. She is the founder of the Not Just Me Foundation, which connects survivors pursuing legal action, has worked extensively with lawmakers on the issue of rape kit backlogs, and helped establish the first rape crisis center in Egypt. Her passion lies in inspiring forensic nurses, law enforcement personnel, lab analysts, attorneys, and advocates to keep fighting on behalf of survivors of sexual assault and other violent crimes. Julie will offer a 90 minute presentation followed by an open Q&A session.
