Fair Chance CoP: Mass Incarceration 101: How Did We Get Here?

This Community of Practice session will include Ashley Kilmer, Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology & Criminal Justice, who specializes in Criminology, who will give us an overview of mass incarceration in the United States, outline its history and development, and offer some connections between the overall system and prison education.  

This session will be a hybrid session, where interested folks can attend virtually or in person. Lunch will be provided to in-person attendees.
