Leneida Crawford, mezzo soprano and Susan Ricci, pianist explore the life and compositions of Pauline Viardot-Garcia, a highly intelligent, complex and influential woman of the 19th century. She gained recognition as a fine mezzo soprano and published over ninety vocal works in her lifetime as well as other works for the piano and chamber ensemble. She was also quite successful as a pianist. Her compositions are interesting and lively. We feel sure that you will find her life quite captivating.
