Exhibition | Rootless Orchids

On View: May 29 - July 22, 2018

This exhibition presents the work of Taiwanese and Taiwanese-American artists who explore the challenges of shifting identity in the United States and East Asia. The U.S. based artists share stories of assimilation and being the “other,” while those in Taiwan focus on issues of identity, privilege, and power in a rapidly changing pan-Asian culture. Curated by Fang Yu Lee, candidate in Maryland Institute College of Arts (MICA) MFA in Curatorial Practice program. Co-presented with MICA.
