Youngborg uses digital technologies to create immersive installations. Through techniques of glitch, loss, and layering, Youngborg uses the archive in conjunction with contemporary data to try and recreate a ghost without its community, ultimately questioning the role of data, archives, and reproduction in understanding place, loss and memory.

 

Gallery Hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Artist talk February 12 at 12 noon in the Holtzman MFA Gallery
Reception February 6 following the 6:30 p.m. lecture.
