The Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Celebration is an annual event hosted by the Center for Student Diversity that seeks to honor and celebrate Dr. King’s life and legacy. This year’s theme, Deconstructing the Movement: Examining the Continuing Fight for Civil & Human Rights speaks to the idea that moments make movements. As we are currently in yet another "moment" in the journey toward equity and inclusion, Vernon A. Wall’s keynote seeks to reaffirm our commitment to the phrase: "With Liberty & Justice for ALL". The celebration will feature performances by the TU community and George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology students. Light refreshments will be served at 5pm. Registration is encouraged!
