Sheryl WuDunn, Author of New York Times best-selling, Half the Sky: Turning Oppression Into Opportunity for Women Worldwide, comes to Towson.  Half the Sky which delves into the issues and challenges faced by women all around the world, has been featured on television shows such as Oprah and the Colbert Report.

WuDunn, the first Asian American to win a Pulitzer Prize, is also a business executive, entrepreneur, and co-author of three best-selling books.  She is a graduate of Harvard, Princeton, and Cornell Universities and has worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co, The New York Times, and a variety of other international companies. .
