Presented fully staged in German with English dialogue and surtitles. When the Queen of the Night's daughter is abducted, it is up to a heroic prince to save her. Aided by a magic flute, three spirits and a rollicking birdman, Prince Tamino sets out on a quest to save Pamina and gain true wisdom along the way. Participating student ensembles include Music for the Stage (Phillip Collister, director) and University Orchestra (Lee Mills, director). Video scenery/projections provided by the Department of Electronic Media and Film.
