Composers Unheard, Composers Celebrated spotlights works for clarinet and piano that have been previously under appreciated. Clarinetist Natalie Groom (Adjunct Instructor of Clarinet, Towson University) and pianist Hui-Chuan Chen bring these works to light in a program featuring works by: Marie-Elisabeth von Sachsen-Meiningen, a Prussian princess; Mojgan Misaghi, a composer inspired by traditional dance and harmonies of Iran; Ke-Chia Chen, professor at Curtis Institute of Music; Fazil Say, world-renowned Turkish piano soloist; and Gwyneth Walker, an American choral composer.
