Urban Teachers produces highly effective educators who empower every child through learning. Our teachers become career educators committed to equity and inclusivity, ensuring every student receives a great education. We believe access to a quality education gives young people the tools to become forces of change in their communities.

We prepare new teachers to succeed through a rigorous clinical training model. Our teachers earn a master's degree and become dually certified in their content area (Elementary Education, Secondary ELA or Secondary Math) and special education. We facilitate 85 hours of coaching support. Our program is open to all TU majors.
