DESCRIPTION:Sophie Maguire is an artist and landscape architect living in B
 altimore City. Her practice focuses on storytelling\, intimacy between the
  human & nonhuman\, landscape as theater\, and the meaning of resiliency. 
 She works through many mediums including\, choreography\, collage\, cookin
 g\, drawing\, embroidery\, performance\, writing and\, most recently\, sma
 ll metal work. A former designer with the City of Baltimore Recreation and
  Parks Capital Division\, Sophie holds an MA in Landscape Architecture fro
 m the Harvard Graduate School of Design. She is currently a Visiting Instr
 uctor at Morgan State University. Meg Baldwin holds an MA in Landscape Arc
 hitecture from the University of Virginia. She is the founder of Garden Pr
 actice\, a landscape architecture and garden design practice specializing 
 in ecological and bio-diverse garden plantings and landscape design.\n\nEn
 joy the exhibition and reception following the lecture.
