DESCRIPTION:On view through April 29\n\nArtist Statements:\n\nMy name is Al
iya Tungekar and I am a self-taught artist. \n\nFor me\, art is more than
an expression — it is an act of worship\, reflection\, and connection. E
ach creation carries an intention: to honor faith\, to preserve tradition\
, and to introduce innovation. My goal is to make Islamic art accessible\,
meaningful\, and lasting\, while ensuring it resonates deeply with both t
he heart and the eye.\n\n \n\nMy name is Abdul Munim. I am a physician. I
have a lifelong interest in Arabic calligraphy and wood carving. \nI learn
ed a lot from Chip carver\, Wayne Barton's books and video tutorials and a
pplied his techniques and motifs to the masterpieces of Arabic calligraphy
 .\n\n \n\nThis exhibit will run through 4/29/2026
