Ware, whose work was in Ex-tend Ex-cess, is inspired by his extensive travel throughout the United States. That landscape serves as the basis for his abstract ceramic sculptures, which suggest the essence of transformation—movement, energy, and life. He explores the tremendous forces that shape the landscape, primarily geologic transformations. Ware holds an MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is currently a technician and instructor there in the Ceramics Department.
