Jul 17, 2026: Towson University Movie Night - Zootopia 2 at Johnny Unitas Stadium

Towson University will be hosting a free community movie night, presented by the Baltimore County Department of Public Works & Transportation, on Friday, July 17th starting at 6pm with the film, Zootopia 2, starting at 7pm. Come out and enjoy this free family-friendly event at Unitas Stadium! Free Ledo Pizza, ice cream, popcorn, and bottled water will be available, all while supplies last. Those who wish to bring their own food and drinks may do so and eat/drink on the track. There will be a bounce house, face painters and balloon artists in attendance for kids to interact with during the evening. All attendees will also receive a voucher for a free youth ticket to any Towson Football game (excluding Morgan State) in the 2026 season upon arrival. Admission is free to the public; no signup is necessary. Donations of non-perishable food will be accepted to support the Towson University Basic Needs Hub. Parking:
Attendees can park in Lots 4, 5, or 6 and walk through the access gate near Lot 6 to get inside the stadium

Need some extra income?

Come meet with local and on-campus employers to obtain flexible part-time employment while earning your degree!

Bring copies of your resume.Dress appropriately – casual but conservative.Remember, if you are interested in securing part-time employment while a TU student, it is recommended that you bring original proof of identity and employment authorization with you to college. Suggested documentation includes, but is not limited to, drivers' licenses, passports, social security cards, etc. More information about work authorization documentation may be found here – https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/form-i-9-acceptable-documents. Though traditional employment relationships may require proof of identity per the requirements of federal law, other opportunities, such as scholarships, volunteer internships, and work as an independent contractor, may not require such documentation.

This fair will be located in the University Union Ballrooms on the 3rd floor of the University Union.

Helen Keller’s life embodied resilience, courage and an unshakable belief that true beauty lives in our deepest feelings and in our connections with one another. Her words perfectly capture the spirit of the Institute’s visionary, Dr. Nancy Grasmick — a leader whose life’s work has been defined by heart, determination, resilience, integrity and enduring relationships across our region.

On September 8, 2026 at Towson University's Kaplan Concert Hall, we will proudly celebrate the five-year anniversary of the Dr. Nancy Grasmick Leadership Institute and honor the life, leadership and legacy of our founder and visionary, Dr. Nancy Grasmick. There is hardly a corner of this region that has not been touched in some meaningful way by Nancy’s leadership. The ripple effect she has created — through the Institute and through decades of service — will continue to strengthen and inspire our leadership pipeline for generations to come.

The evening will feature the premiere of a powerful new documentary that captures the breadth and depth of her impact, followed by an engaging fireside chat with Dr. Grasmick and David Rubenstein, co-founder of the Carlyle Group and owner of the Baltimore Orioles. Please join us in celebrating this legendary leader and the countless lives, organizations and communities she has helped to shape across our region and fueling leadership in our region.
