Tiger Soccer Complex

The Tiger Soccer Complex, home to both the men's and women's programs, is ideally located adjacent to Johnny Unitas Stadium and the Towson Center. The field is seeded and sodded every year with Bermuda grass, ideal for collegiate soccer. Both bench areas are equipped with two portable Kwik Goal team bench shelters as used by Major League Soccer teams and squads throughout international soccer. The shelters aid in keeping the players dry from precipitation or helping them avoid the direct sun on warm late summer, early fall days. New permanent bleachers were installed in April, 2011 with a seating capacity of 600. Behind these newly installed bleachers is a small concourse equipped with ADA accessible seating. There is a Daktronics scoreboard and accompanying sound system to meet the needs of game-day activities. The field, as well as the back practice field that mimics the Bermuda surface, are cared for year round by the Tigers' grounds crew under the leadership of a Sports Turf Technician. In the event of inclement weather, fans are asked to either exit to their cars or the Field House for safety.
