Tuesdays @ Towson: Francis Poulenc – 50 Years Later (1899-1963)

The legacy of Francis Poulenc, an influential French composer of the 20th century, will be celebrated in song and chamber music by faculty of the Department of Music. Selections include Vocalise-Etude, Sextet for Winds and Piano and Suite Française. A lecture by Carl Schmidt, a Poulenc scholar, will feature colorful stories of encounters with the composer.
