Gerstein and McCollum are husband and wife artists and occasional collaborators whose works are included in the "Cross-Pollinated: Hybrid Art Abuzz" exhibition. Gerstein's work uses the desktop scanner as a stop motion camera. McCollum is an inter-media artist working in film, sound and sculpture. Their films have been screened in international festivals, and their works have been included in major museum exhibitions. They both teach in the Cinema Department at Binghamton University, NY.
