West Village Commons, Ballrooms West Village Commons, Towson

In his book, High Price, a cutting-edge neuroscientist and Columbia University's first tenured African-American professor in sciences, is redefining our understanding of addiction.  His latest book will challenge everything you think you know about drugs and society.  Dr. Hart grew up in one of Miami's toughest neighborhoods.  His journey of self-discovery led him to his pioneering work on drug use and addiction.  Dr. Hart's landmark and controversial research sheds new light on common beliefs about race, poverty, drugs, and explains why current policies are failing.
